Questions & answers

Before you begin

You may be carrying questions before you ever reach out. We hope these gentle answers help you know what to expect. If your question isn't here, you are always welcome to ask.

What if I'm not sure I'm ready?+

That is completely okay. Many women wonder if they should wait until they feel stronger, more certain, or more put together before reaching out. The truth is, there is no perfect moment to begin. Sometimes healing starts simply by letting another person know you are carrying something difficult. You do not have to tell your whole story during our first conversation. You are welcome to share as much, or as little, as feels comfortable. We begin gently, at your pace.

What happens in a first conversation?+

Our first conversation is simply an opportunity to meet. There is no pressure, no obligation, and no expectation that you explain everything you have been through. Instead, we take time to get to know one another, talk about what has brought you here, and discern together whether Sacred Rose feels like the right place for your journey. The first conversation is offered freely because choosing someone to walk with you is important. You deserve the space to listen to your own heart.

Do I have to be religious?+

No. Sacred Rose is rooted in the Christian understanding of the human person and in the belief that every woman possesses inherent dignity and is deeply loved by God. Faith is always offered as a gentle invitation, never as a requirement. Some women come with a deep relationship with Christ. Others carry wounds from faith itself. Many are simply searching for hope. You are welcome exactly as you are. We will walk only as far into matters of faith as feels safe and meaningful for you.

Is everything I share confidential?+

Your story is received with great care, discretion, and respect. Healing requires safety, and trust is built over time. I treat what you share as private, with exceptions where disclosure may be required by law or necessary for safety. You will never be pressured to speak before you are ready. Sacred Rose is intended to be a place where your story can be held with gentleness.

Is this therapy or coaching?+

Sacred Rose offers faith-based coaching and counseling-informed support. While my work is deeply informed by my background in counseling, trauma training, somatic healing, and professional education, it is not licensed psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health treatment. If at any point your needs would be better served by a licensed therapist or another healthcare professional, I will gladly help you find the appropriate support. Seeking the care you need is an act of wisdom, never failure.

What kinds of women do you walk with?+

Every woman's story is unique. Many women come seeking support for sexual trauma, body image struggles, eating disorders, relationship wounds, divorce, miscarriage, abortion, grief, or the lasting effects of experiences that have left them feeling disconnected from themselves. Others simply know that something inside them longs to heal. You do not need to fit into a particular category to begin. If you are carrying something that feels heavy, you are welcome here.

Do we meet in person or online?+

Both. Sessions are available in person in Buckingham, Pennsylvania, and online through Zoom, allowing women to receive support wherever they feel most comfortable. Together we will create a space that feels safe, unhurried, and conducive to your healing.

How long does healing take?+

Healing is not something to be rushed. There is no timetable you must follow and no finish line you are expected to reach. Every story unfolds differently. Our work together honors your unique pace. Sometimes healing comes in quiet moments that cannot be measured, as the fragmented pieces of your life are gently woven back together over time. You are never behind.

Can I work with you even if my story doesn't fit one of the areas listed?+

Absolutely. The areas listed throughout this website simply reflect some of the experiences women commonly bring to Sacred Rose. They are not meant to limit who is welcome. If your story feels difficult to name, if your wounds don't seem to fit neatly into a category, or if you simply know that your heart longs for healing, you are welcome to reach out. We can discern together whether Sacred Rose is the right place for you.

What is your approach to healing?+

I believe that healing begins by honoring the whole person. Our deepest experiences are not carried only in our thoughts. They are also held within the body, our relationships, our sense of identity, and our spiritual lives. For this reason, my work integrates faith-based coaching, trauma-informed care, somatic awareness, and the Christian understanding of the dignity of every human person. At the heart of Sacred Rose is a simple conviction: healing does not erase the past. Rather, with compassion, grace, and time, it gently restores relationship, with ourselves, with others, and with God. It is the quiet work of becoming whole again.

Still wondering if Sacred Rose is right for you?

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. If something in your heart has been quietly whispering that it is time to begin, I would be honored to walk with you.

We can begin with a gentle conversation, and together discern the next faithful step.
